Chips with curry sauce is nice.

But "Chinky chips" (chips with curry sauce from a chinese takeaway) as they were called before the PC police ruled the world are even better.  Very Happy

Ahhh Halfa, you see that is a completely different question to my mind as your chosen accompaniment is of a drinks variety and is a potentially seperate thread altogether.  Laughing  Laughing

ooh no not as an accompaniment that woul be barbaric Laughing . I was thinking more of a Digestive. For those that must, then a crisp bone dry Champers is the perfect accompaniment. Then a cuppa. Twinnings Assam made with Yorkshire water, champion

surely it has to be yorkshire tea!
halfaperson

Uh Uhhh. Got  to be Twinnings. The brand Yorkshire tea is no better that PG etc.
raveydavey

If we're seeking liquid refreshment to accompany fish and / or chips, surely it has to be Ben Shaws Dandelion and Burdock?
Or possibly Tizer, at a push (but not that modern muck masquerading as Tizer...)

Whats up with pg     tips  Confused   I got my monkey called Mohammed from the tesco`s offer. It`s in my van, and has a little name badge.
halfaperson

Nowt wrong with pg (or YT) really but comparing it with Twinnings is like comparing Tetleys with Taylors Landlord.

Mushy peas or curry sauce, I have no preference between the two as I love 'em both.  Gravy on chips is rank!
