10 pts........back would do it!
We could lose next week and Donny would have to win by 9 clear goals for them to go above us!
So 10 + is all we need.
Here's hoping and praying to every imaginable God.

Discussed this subject in the pub last night.
The general concensus of opinion is that we will get enough points to elevate us to 3rd place, in a classic football league fudge.
This will mean that we've had a moral victory, the league won't get sued if anyone finishes above us allowing for the points deduction and there will be minimal complaining from the other play off qualifiers as we're already assured of playoff football.

Our win last night has spared the FL from having to make a tough decision.

its not the football league making the decision, its the arbitration panel. The league have no jurisdiction over the decision, they have to implement the decisin of the INDEPENDENT panel.

That's what I was about to say.
The arbitration panel may also take into account that their decision could be used as a precedent in the future or as a basis for any new rule the FL decide on. Leeds relative position in the league is not relevant .

Bloody Nora Bron,
Saw title of thread and thought we had got 10 back, I nearly fell off me chair.
And just to throw a spanner in the works, do the FL, actually have to follow the decision made by the arbitration panel, if they disagree with the outcome ??.

As far as I remember both Leeds and the FL have agreed to abide by the decision.
Whatever the outcome the FL will have to make a rule stating clearly what the punishment will be in the future and have to clarify precisely what 'exceptional circumstances' mean.

Interesting bit in the comments from Paul.
I can't find the FL rules....they aren't published on their website.
So we should be discussing how many points will the dock or not not how many will they give back.
I love neutral comments
