Regardless of who he is and where he came from. I am behind him 100% as I have been with all the rest. Long may this run continue and I hope we fly up the league to auto promo. The morale he seems to have inspired is fantastic and if this continues I can see him becoming stronger as a manager to take us much further. We need money to help him on his way and if we do get auto promo then I think a healthy war chest next season is garaunteed !!

Freebie cast offs and unheard ofs?

JJ have you ever followed football below the championship? cause i have for years. We brought in constantine who is the best striker at this level that there is, our so called free be cast offs were all playing at a much higher level not long ago (prutton is only down here with us cause of what he did to a ref when playing for southampton) Beckford showed that he should be banging them in at this level last season when on loan at scunny. Huntington was playing in the newcastle first team last season and their fans werent happy to see him gone. Our defence was playing championship football last season. The players we have are all a better quality and should find this level of football easy.

Not strictly true as we have quite a lot of players that were here last season and proved as a team that we were amongst the worst 3 in the division so it hardly suggests that the same players were therefore miles ahead of the players in a lower division.
If the freebies we signed were as great as you'd suggest then they'd have been inundated with better offers than having to wait around at ER for a contract that might never have been forthcoming.

What Wisey and Poyet have done is get them playing with confidence and playing for each other. We are playing as a team and regardless of how much money is spent and how good the players individually are or are not to get them playing as a team is full credit to Wise.

Don't forget that we are also playing against teams that in playing us are playing possibly the biggest game in their history and others their biggest game in years. How many times in the past have Leeds lost to lower league teams in the cup who simply wanted it more in their 'cup final.'

Regardless of how the season pans out you cannot begrudge the start that Wise and Poyet have made now that they have got 'their' team playing.
