| Cracking result, full credit to the lads and management team for overcoming adversity once more. There is more character about this team that any we have had since pre-Cardiff cup tie.

That fitness work is really paying off this season, and there's a healthy attitude of fighting right to the very end, which we haven't had for years.
We could do with a bit more quality and guile in the engine room, but I'm not complaining.

| Hopefully the quality/composure will come in time, don't forget that the team is fairly new and we have had to shuffle the pack quite a bit this season. When you consider how new the team is the start is nothing short of amazing. It's hardly like we had an amazing side when we were relegated.

Actually, we've had a very stable team this season. Except for the left back and Thommo there have hardly been any changes at all before the enforced ones today.
I think the current team will have had all the gelling time they need in another two or three games, after which it's probably unrealistic to expect them to improve too much more. The strikers and the defense are doing fine, but I'm still unconvinced by the midfield.

Like you say the strikers and defence has been fairly conssistent having not changed much (Hughes/Clapham the only changes). The midfield though has been disrupted quite a bitmainly due to Thompson's injury but don't forget Douglas was banned at the start as well and we have shuffled a bit with Hughes and Westlake getting injured and Carole switching wings in some games.
Understanding is the key in any team and the only way to get the understanding is in consistency of selection which is what we have had and I think the team has been improving and will continue to improve.

| What a vital win...and what a great set of results in the other matches. We went into that round of matches on 20th spot and amazingly only three of the teams above us won...how unlikely is that. And even then the highest placed winner was 10th placed Swansea. Minus 15 points and only four points out of the play-offs after only just nine matches. What an amazing achievement.

Yes. I could see how great a win would be as the games were panning out into the last 10-15 minutes, but as it was drawing to an end I pretty much settled for only a draw. To see that winner go in so late was pure bliss!
