Ins:
Steve Davies (Tranmere:left wing) - Improved bid (4th has been made) expected to be agreed, circa 600k, within the next hour - looks almost certainly on!
Rob Jones (Hibs:centre back) - Last bid was made on monday of this week, approx 450k, hibs rejected, Leeds told them they would leave on the table and are hoping they will come back. Looks doubtful at the moment but Leeds unlikely to budge bar maybe upping 50k or so.
Graham Kavanagh (Sunderland:Centre Mid) - Made an offer last night, believed to be in the region 200k, accepted by Sunderland, player himself 'not too keen' but believed to be willing to talk to wise. 50/50 whether he will accept deal.
Shaun Barker (Blackpool:Right Back) - offer rejected 2 weeks ago, doesnt look like Blackpool will play ball, we were talking 200-300k, they were talking 750k. We will only go in for him with improved bid IF Richardson leaves today (see below)
Matt Fryatt (Leicester:Striker) - enquiry made last week, they quoted 500k, nothing happened since, although Mandaric may not allow him to leave with no current manager, lloks doubtful on this one.
Ashley Grimes (Man City:Striker/Centre Mid) - looks a definite move, either for 250k cash or more likely on season long loan. One for the future, if he doesnt sign today he will sing when loan markey opens next week.
Outs:
J.Douglas - to Hull City (!!) or Burnley for approx 350k, likely to go through today.
F.Richardson - to Stoke for 200k, 50/50 this one, the player doesnt really want to leave but may be forced out (relatively large wages), if he does go we will bring in Shaun Barker (see above).
Will be an interesting 8 hours!
