Any RL fans here. I know Kevin follows the Wire and as we know ravey is a big Rhinos fan Laughing .

Going to London on Friday for the annual Challenge cup final weekend. First one was Leeds Beating Saints in about 1978. This’ll be about the 29th or 30th on the trot and its always a cracking weekend. Haven’t always gone to the game itself though. Twice ive traveled back up to ER for the day to see the Leicester home game when Strach scored in the promotion season and of course the Norwich game when we collected the championship in 92. Missed the incredible Derby game though when we came from 3-0 to win 4-3 Sad . Will also miss the Forest trip but its just about worth it.

Looking forward to seeing Wembley again after a seven year absence. Anyone else bothered about it or even going to the game. Allez Catalan lets hope they can do what the Mighty Giants couldn’t last year at Twickers. Doubt it though.

And before you start.. yeah yeah… Rugby Union blah blah, Six tackles fluency etc etc heard it all before yaaaawwwwnnn Cool Wink Laughing .

I have a feeling that it is going to be a close affair in the first half and then one way traffic in the 2nd half with saints running away with it.
I used to enjoy my wembley weekends, cardiff and murrayfield when it got moved from wembley.
But this year i am giving it a miss as my mate is getting married on sat.
A quick tip is Leon Pryce to either score 1st try or getting the lance todd trophy. After 3 games out he will be busting to make an impression.

Hope you enjoy yourself mate - I'm sure £4 for a plastic pint of plastic beer and £5 for a burger will be right up your street Razz

Given that it's the French* vs the Lancastrians it's hard to know who to want to lose most!

* - or rather lots of Aussies wearing berets and smelling of garlic.

Too right mate Evil or Very Mad Its probably the only bit of London I dont like. Its full of low life scumbags on em isn’t it?. Itll be a brave one who tries it out on 70000 18 stone Rugby fans though.

Well you called that right Kevin but what a cop out giving it to two players. I actually thought Pryce had just a reasonable game. Saints Forwards are immense but Forwards hardly ever get the LTT. Full backs, scrum halves and Stand offs seem to win it all the time. Wellens was brilliant as ever though.

What a pisspot weekend though. Started with the first pint in Wetherspoons at 9AM and apart from a bit of sleep didn’t stop till 6.30pm Sunday. Totally washed out this week and havent had a drop. Round Two this weekend though starting tonight watching the mighty Giants tame the Wolves Wink .
