...and that is why Ken Bates is at Leeds. Would anyone give enough of a t*ss what he thinks if he wasn't a football chairman? Would anyone bother to interview him at his tax retreat so he can show off how rich he is?

Nope. He'd be just another property-developer no one gives a hoot about, and his ego just can't stomach that.

totally disagree!! As much as I hate Bates I respect some of the things he has done at Leeds. Stopped the money being leeched from the club, stopped the free loaders, stopped the freeloading fans!! LUFC is now on an even keel and, hopefully, poised to begin making money. Lets face it, this is the first time in a long time that Leeds have "spalshed money"

Hate the guy, but thankful of the position he has us financially. However, not happy at his bungling of the t/o and the subsequant -15 points. Hopefully though Wise has the bolox and ability to steer us well clear of the drop zone within the next few months!!
