I am in Leeds on Saturday for day 2 of the 2nd test. Am I best to drive to Headingley and try and park, or head for city centre and get train/bus to the ground?

I'd agree. The 1 and 56 buses go quite near the ground I seem to recall (but I could be wrong). On street parking in the city centre is quite cheap on a Saturday (certainly cheaper than NCP).
