So another senior New Labour minister can't keep track of his finances.

It appears scandalous and reminiscent of pigs with their noses in the trough. Still, he has the full support of our unelected Prime Minister which must be a comfort.

"All animals are equal. It's just some are more equal than others"

And now it's reported in the Sundays that numerous high profile Goverment recruitment contracts have gone to the firm Hains wife just happens to to run. A firm that is now Whitehalls "preferred" supplier.

They used to call the Tories the party of sleaze, but they've got nothing on this lot have they?

Evil or Very Mad

I couldn't even accept a £10 bottle of wine from a supplier at Christmas as it broke the companys new rules on "conflict of interest", yet he fails to account for £103,000, has had dozens of political donations pennies below the level where he has to declare them and now we find his wife has the nose in the trough as well.

What a flaming joke. The sooner this bunch of numpties are voted out the better. Evil or Very Mad

The sad thing is that he'll slide off for a bit and then make a return once they think the fuss has died down.

Look at Mandelson - all that carry on about his mortgage application and his partners immigration status and now he's got a plum job at the EU.

I think its called "Jobs for the Boys" - although the fact that the matter has been referred to the police might see him "MIA" for a while
