.....Not for the economy (not just yet anyhow), but perhaps for Labour's poll figures. Seems the IMF think they may be on the right track.

Ravey - Every developed country on the planet suffered with this recession. Brown, from a distance, looks like he is taking actions to get UK fixed quicker than most
Bit unfair to tag one man with all this????

The main cause of this situation is irresponsible lending by the banks and the inability of them to actually get that money back, having lent it people who were never going to be able to repay. Brown changed the regulatory structure removing control of the banks from the Bank of England, to the inneffective FSA, which I'm sure I'm not the only one on here thinks is a waste of space.
Brown is not the only culprit, but he's certainly one of the main ones._________________ The advert above is nowt to do with me!

It doesn't really matter whom you blame for this, the fact is it was carefully engineered over a period of time to bring about the certain rules into the world. Rules, that because of the present situation people would accept. People want change and it's coming, but not how you really think it is.
The world is looking to Obama to do his ju ju to get us out of it. Guess again folks, he aint the solution, but part of the problem!
This recession will continue for some time and probably get worse. The US will never be the same as it was prior to the collapse. Unions will become bigger and new ones formed. Chna and India will emerge as the next biggest superpowers. The US will continue to try to flex it's softened muscles, but to no avail. We are on the eve of massive change. |

They are the worlds biggest exporters. India, unlike China, has a consumer society. The Chinese economy depends so much on exports. It does not have a home market. In order to ensure high levels of export, they need a weak currency which means, guess what.....They buy Dollars.
