Sorry in advance i am slightly out of touch with the drinking situation around the ground !!
Is it true that you have to be in the supporters club to gain entry to The Peacock ? If so what about away supporters and non-members where do you all go for a pre-match drink ?

As i understand Billy's bar is also a members only bar ?

No I don't think you have to be a supporters club member to get in the Peacock, Bliily bar and Howards way a re members only bars. Theres the wagon and Horse's, White Hart and the Whistlestop near by. Oh and the Drysalters too.

I read that the Supporters Club were buying / have bought the Peacock lease. Not sure if it is members only. In fact it was not recently because I read elsewhere that away fans were in there against Hartlepool.

The Supporters Club are reputed to be taking over the Peacock, and yes it would be SC members only, sheer folly if you ask me. Be interesting to see what any no tenant would do regards the numbers that drink in the beer garden every game, can't see any new tenant been quiet so undrstanding regarding this.

Maybe they will start selling tins out the back door again. Can't see them letting people bring their own.
