Michael Bridges could be set for a shock return to former club Leeds.
The former Sunderland striker, 29, wants to quit Hull following the arrivals of Caleb Folan and Okocha. He was furious at being left out of Brown's starting line-up for Monday's defeat at Blackpool despite impressing recently and knows his chances will be limited.
Leeds boss Dennis Wise is keen to strengthen his attacking options and is interested in signing Bridges on loan.
Bridges cost Leeds £5million in 1999 but spent 18 months on the sidelines with serious knee and ankle injuries.
