Foo Fighters - Echoes, Silence, Patience and Grace
Jimmy Eat World - Chase This Light

Both are brilliant albums, JEW's album is a brilliant mix of styles with a couple of storming songs harking back to songs like Pain and The Middle

ESPG is just brilliant, they have combined the usual released stuff with the brilliant accoustic stuff off the last album and it sounds fantastic

D1 went to see Foos at the Dome last night...Good reports, as one would expect from a FF gig.

Not too keen on all things acoustic myself, actually. Never been too keen on ballads and stuff.

Certainly one of the best live acts I've seen..Bettered only by the likes of Metallica, Maiden, etc.

Only joking, Mate. I like them too and have all their stuff. However, I consider them to be another band who, like Oasis, have yet to improve on their debut album. You can add The Stone Roses, Linkin Park and Guns 'N' Roses to that list too.

Linkin park have never improved on Hybrid theory although that was not their debut album. Their best song comes off Meteora.

Bloc party's Flux is a phenomenal song and i've never really been to into them before.

Your coming on Leaps and bounds nlag Laughing .This is JEWs 6th album isn’t it. Very prolific. They were one of the original EMO bands weren’t they a few years ago before the dissociated themselves with it and EMO morphed into what it is now. Haven’t got any of their stuff but would probably get a best of Rolling Eyes . Incidentally there on at the Uni in February if anyones interested. It’s a Friday night if I remember correctly.
