Discussed this subject in the pub last night.
The general concensus of opinion is that we will get enough points to elevate us to 3rd place, in a classic football league fudge.
This will mean that we've had a moral victory, the league won't get sued if anyone finishes above us allowing for the points deduction and there will be minimal complaining from the other play off qualifiers as we're already assured of playoff football. |

its not the football league making the decision, its the arbitration panel. The league have no jurisdiction over the decision, they have to implement the decisin of the INDEPENDENT panel.

That's what I was about to say.
The arbitration panel may also take into account that their decision could be used as a precedent in the future or as a basis for any new rule the FL decide on. Leeds relative position in the league is not relevant .
